Feb 11. The Hon. John Lenders, Minister for Financial Services and Minister for Information and Communication Technology visited Attra Bangalore. The minister was accompanied by delegates that included Mr Matt Nurse (Media Adviser to the Minister), Mr Randall Straw (Deputy Secretary), Mr Geoffrey Conaghan (Commissioner, Victorian Government Business Office - India), Mr Ray Nicol (ICT Investment and Business Development) & Mr Nik Guruprasad (Investment Manager, Victorian Government Business Office - India).

During the visit, the Minister and his delegates were taken through a detailed presentation on Attra. The Minister toured Attra-s state-of-the-art Bangalore facility and also addressed the staff members. The minister was happy to note that Attra, a Melbourne headquartered company has grown to become a global IT services company.

During his address to staff of Attra the Minister highlighted the state of Victorian economy and also how the demographics of India and Australia are well placed to strengthen cooperation between both the nations.
